We are having a great time & can hardly believe we meet Roy in less than 24 hours!!!! FINALLY!
We both woke up very early this morning due to jet lag. We were wide awake from 2AM! agh! Finally our breakfast buffet at hotel opened at 6. We were there with bells on. ;-) Mike was in buffet heaven! Because our hotel is used for a lot of business people from all over the world, there was many types of food represented. I was in heaven for the Scandinavian treats. Mike loved the sushi etc (yes, at 6am!!).
After breakfast, we had a quick nap which was so needed at that point! Then we headed out to Shamian Island and did a little shopping. Chinese silks for Roy & Maddie. I can't wait to see them in it!

We just walked around for a long time. It was very relaxing & great to get the bulk of souvenir shopping done. We have no idea if Roy will be up for any of that, so thought we should do it today.
We came home mid afternoon & explored our hotel a bit. It is absolutely beautiful! Everyone is so very kind and helpful. They have a beautiful outdoor area too. Lots of Coy fish.

We really can feel your prayers & so soooo appreciate them! What I imagined would be a day full of anxiety about meeting Roy tomorrow was full of Joy & a sense of calm. I'm truly just excited for this moment we've waited so long for.
We meet him 2:30pm tomorrow (your time 2:30am), So...hopefully i'll be able to post pics by the time you wake up! :-)
